Interstitial 3
Collaboration (SECCA) 2022
Interstitial 3 was a process-based collaboration with Taryn Griggs and Chris Yon, along with a group of dancers: Maddy Bailey, Dawanna Benjamin, Faith Fidgeon, Ciara Loscombe, Kendall Ramirez, Caitlyn Schrader, and Maurice Watson.
Interstitial 3 also featured EVERYWHERE'S INSIDE-OUTSIDE (a zoom dance video booth)—an interactive work inviting visitors to virtually dance with strangers in other people’s spaces. This piece functions as a public, abstract improvisation to address our isolation even as we transition out of quarantine, and a lens through which to reflect on this moment in the world.
